Anchored in Midvale, UT, as our family grows so do the miles that separate us. This blog was created to provide an online family resource to keep everyone connected and up-to-date on the lives of our growing families.
The name for our blog was inspired by three elements: 1) our surname, meaning ”blacksmith” in its native language, 2) the idea of a family’s relationship being “forged” or created with love – including the forming, shaping, sweating, moving ahead, and other action involved in taking something raw and molding it into something beautiful, and 3) a recent undertaking of the blacksmithing hobby by our Dad. Maybe we can get some pictures of his work posted soon…
In any case, what began with two individuals has now become (to date) 2 parents, 4 children, 3 in-laws and 6 grandchildren. A tradition of service, caring, love and fun continues through the generations and this blog will capture the adventures along the way.
